hall. city officials heard about her efforts and they invited her to this facility. we thought it would coincide with our efforts to get folks to recycle, it is a great educational tool. since then, we have had 95 professional artists come through. >> how has the program changed over the years? how has the program -- what can the public has an artist engage with? >> for the most part, we worked with metal and wood, what you would expect from a program like ours. over the years, we tried to include artists and all types of mediums. conceptual artists, at installation, photographers, videographers. >> that has really expanded the program out. it is becoming so dynamic right now with your vision of interesting artists in gauging here. why would an artist when to come here? >> mainly, access to the materials. we also give them a lot of support. when they start, it is an empty studio. they go out to the public area and -- we call it the big store. they go out shopping, take the materials that, and get to work. it is kind of like a reprieve, so they can really focus on their body of work. >>

the time in her life in our city's life when things seemed more touchable, more human, or just tells me that she's honored to meet george moscone's son. or on the first preview of the play that my dear friend tony wrote about george and me, a play called ghost life, and the first public performance up in ashlan, oregon. halfway through the second act, at long last, george shows up and the fractured city hall backdrop begins to fill with floating lights outlining the golden gate bridge and we hear tony bennett sing his legendary recording of "i left my heart in san francisco." and then the character of george, sometimes mouthing the words, sometimes singing them quietly, moves towards john without looking, for he cannot look at his son. and he touches john's heart and then he moves away towards the city hall of john's memory and john set the stairs in the way that george did, cocky and sexy, cruel as all get out. and then the song ends. and i notice the woman sitting next to me crying. and after the play is over, after the standing ovation of tony's brave and beautiful play, as people st

murdered his girlfriend, shot her nine times and killed himself. brad underwood has more from kansas city. good morning, brad. >> good morning, it has been an emotional high and low in the last couple of days in kansas city. they are continuing to learn more about the events leading up with the incident with javon and his girlfriend casandra perkins and what will happen to zoe. javon's mother the raise the three month old in long island. funeral arrangements haven't been made for casandra or javon. the first thing out of the head coach's mouth. thoughts and prayers going out to both families. javon a starter of the kansas city chiefs and his girlfriend was active in the organization as well and finding out more about the head injuries. stemming from a argument that happened friday night as casandra came home late from a concert. he shot her four times and then came here and took his life . continuing what will happen in the next coming days. they have not made funeral arrangements for javon or casandra. >> brian: thank you . the owner of the teams he had no history of concussions . the ot

by debate but this dashboard will be helpful in really giving us pinpoints as to where the city isaqj)e at in complying with our 2009 housing element. so i just want to thank supervisor olague for her work. this is something she has taken on since she was commissioner. i also want to recognize supervisor campos. we had called for a hearing on this very issue earlier this year and one of the recommendations that came out of this hearing was of course a dashboard to better understanding housing production needs at various income levels and to understand the source of funds available for affordable housing at the federal state and local level so we can begin to have a discussion about solutions on how to close this production gap. c, this dashboard will assist in helping us to prioritize funds that we just passed at the ballot and i want to appreciate our voters for passing both prop c andms( e. they will be incredibly important in serving as a source of funding for affordable housing in san francisco. >> president chiu: supervisor campos. >> supervisor campos: thank you, mr. president

and to ultimately highway 24. for one person said that at about 20 minutes to her commute because now instead of driving straight down here she has to go around and that will be hard for a lot of people this morning. there is this city manager that is the bank get him to come over. he wants to deal with his crew is that he is the city manager for the city of lafayette. we will see of weekend to a live interview at 945 or so the see what he thinks about this and how long repairs are going to take and how much pressure he is putting on crews to get it done. >> also damaged in the north bay were white hill school in fairfax closed. jackie sissel has an update their. >> >> so we do not seem that jackie available. they have some floodwaters into the school and because of that they're checking for mall behind a wall that made its way from the water and to the walls. a prison sentences for doing everything to get the storm drains on clogged including using a break. many areas were flooded because of backed up storm drains. but there were it would get this mess cleared out by the afternoon. pedestria
